History of school

Choreographic School Studio "Lezginka" was founded in  August, 24, 1993  in connection with the need to prepare professional personnel for the State Academic Honored Dance Ensemble of Dagestan "Lezginka".  The first graduates of choreographic school-studio "Lezginka" took place in May 1996.

With the great success report-final concertsof Choreographic School Studio "Lezginka"are held in a professional manner. The first concert was held on the stage of Russian Drama Theatre and consisted of two parts: the first part of the concert consisted of the repertoire "Lezginka" and the second part was dedicated to the dances of the peoples of the Caucasus and the world.

Choreographic School Studio "Lezginka" takes an active part in all the iconic cultural events of the republic: III Festival of Arts, 2000., Honoring the club "Anji" 2001., Festival "Young pop stars", 2002., Festival of Russian Theatres,the jubilee concerts ofoutstanding leaders of Dagestan such as the national poets of Dagestan R.Gamzatov and  F.G.Alieva, people's actress of Dagestan I. Kurumova.

Graduates of Choreographic School Studio "Lezginka" actively participated staged by the first Dagestan ballet "Party - Patima" (composer - N.Dagirov, choreographer - artistic director of the ensemble "Lezginka" Joseph Mataev). They became winners of national and international folk dance festivals (the International Festival of Folklore Dance in Spain in 1997, in France in 1998.).

Trying to return the young people to the sources of national culture, traditions and moral values, to inspire a love of the older generation and follow their professional principles Choreographic School Studio "Lezginka" since its founding has released more than 1,000 students.The best graduates become actors of the ensemble "Lezginka"  many of which were subsequently awarded honorary titles of the Republic of Dagestan:Honored Artist of Dagestan KurbanRamazanov,

      Since its formation to the present day Choreographic School Studio "Lezginka" is not only a talent foundryof  ensemble "Lezginka" and other dance groups of the republic such as: "Youth of Dagestan" - Grechina Alice, "Dagestan" – Khasaev Arslan, Sahratullaev Sahratulla and many others,"Opera and Ballet Theatre" – Arsen Kurbanaliev, Gadjiev Murtuz, AhmedovEldar, Amayeva Zarina, Abakarova Badrizhat, Kurbanalieva Aida and others.Graduates of school -studio successfully represent the multinational art of Dagestan as part of such famous ensembles as the "Kuban Cossack Chorus," "Alan", "Vainakh", "Kabardinka" and others.
